Q1.
How are the grilles secured?
A. The grilles are secured by a combination of heat
stabilised zip ties and stainless steel locking wire. This method,
although simple, provides an effective, secure and unobtrusive
fixing system that requires no special tools to implement and, more importantly,
does NOT require you to drill any holes in your bike to fix
ungainly and unnecessary bracketry, as is often the case with many of the
alternative protection systems that are available.

Q2.
Will my bike's running temperature be affected by fitting these
grilles?
A. No. These grilles have undergone thousands of miles of rigorous testing,
not only on the road but also on the track. During this testing there has been
no noticeable increase in normal running temperature, even under 32DegC track
conditions.

Q3.
What colours and finishes are
available?
A. Grilles are currently available in anodised gold, powder coated gloss
black, powder coated low sheen satin black and powder coated silver. Other
colours and finishes may be added in the future dependant on demand, so if you
want something particular then email your requirements to us as we may be able
to accommodate them.

Q4.
How long will it take to get my grilles?
A. Grilles are only despatched on receipt of cleared
payment. Therefore if you pay by Paypal, Nochexs or PO money order, for
instance, then it is possible that your order may be despatched the same day /
next day provided there is available stock. However a cheque payment will not
be cleared for at least 4 days (even if you see that it has left your account)
so it is normally 4-5 days from receipt of your cheque. For UK
orders grille sets are sent by 1st class Small packet rate, so they should
arrive the next day - the Postal Service, being what it is, means that it can
sometimes take a day (or more) longer. For Overseas postage 1st class airmail
Small packet rate is used which is a nominal 5 day airmail service
(that means they aim to deliver in 5 days - sometimes its less but sometimes its
more) - often deliveries
are achieved in less than the 5 days (west coast USA in 3 days have been known). Both of
these services are NOT trackable, so no amount of pestering is going to
make any difference.

Q5.
How can I pay for my grilles?
A. We are constantly looking
to improve the ways in which customers can pay for their orders. Currently
payment can be made using the methods shown in the Table below. However, due to
the relatively high level of charges levied by third party payment providers, a
surcharge applies to some of these methods to cover these charges where they
apply.

Q7..
Why are the powder coated finishes more expensive than the
anodised?
A. This is because the powder
coated finishes require additional manufacturing processes which
inevitably makes them more expensive.

Q8.
I want some grilles for my bike but it doesn’t seem to be listed
in the application chart?
A. If you don’t see your bike in the Application Chart
then we can still supply you a grille, however it may be necessary for you
to confirm certain aspects of your bike so we can be sure that the product that
you will receive is a good fit.
